Stacklane

Engineering math, twice a month.

One or two emails per month, written by Ishak. Engineering technique (database patterns, Stripe edge cases, RAG in production) and engineering math (cost breakdowns, hire-vs-subscribe analyses). Occasionally a case study. Always specific.

One or two emails a month. Unsubscribe in one click, no hassle.

Three things that earn the inbox.

  1. 01

    Engineering math, with the receipts

Cost breakdowns, hire-vs-subscribe analyses, the real numbers behind senior salaries in NL. The math that's usually hand-waved in vendor decks, shown in full.

  2. 02

    Engineering technique, from production

Database patterns we use on real cases. Stripe edge cases we hit and fixed. RAG pipelines in production, not in tutorials. Code you can actually run.

  3. 03

    Case studies, no slide ware

Occasional walkthroughs of what we shipped: the constraint, the trade-off, the integration we picked, the bill at the end. Same voice as the rest of the site.

Four things this isn't.

A drip funnel
We do not auto-fire seven emails over fourteen days. Each send is written when there's something to say. If we'd be padding, we skip the month.
A sales sequence
Subscribing is not a sales-call request. The booking CTA at the bottom of the welcome email is there if you want it; nobody chases you if you don't click.
Three emails a week
The cadence is one or two per month. If your inbox is sacred, this list will respect that. If you want daily content, follow the LinkedIn instead.
A partner share-of-list
Your email is for this newsletter, nothing else. No co-promotions, no list rentals, no "sponsored by" sends. We never sell it or lend it out.
