Lottie files, After Effects in, optimised JSON out, themable at runtime on every surface.

Lottie is the format that lets brand-quality motion ship to the web, the cross-platform mobile app, and the native iOS and Android apps from one source. We build animations in After Effects with Lottie in mind from the start, themable, performance-tuned, and small enough to fit the page's payload budget.

What we build

  • After Effects + Bodymovin pipeline

    Compositions structured for clean Bodymovin export: native AE expressions that translate, layer naming for runtime access, no unsupported effects sneaking in. The export pipeline is part of the design process.

  • Themeable at runtime

    Color, stroke width, and key parameters exposed via Lottie's expression bindings. The same JSON renders on dark and light surfaces, in primary or muted accent, without re-exporting from AE.

  • Optimised file size

    Vector shapes preferred over raster; unused layers stripped; gradients minimised. Most files ship under 100kb; the few that need more justify the bytes against their on-page importance.

  • Cross-runtime testing

    Animations tested in lottie-web, lottie-react-native, and the native iOS/Android Lottie runtimes. Subtle differences (filter blur support, alpha mask quirks) caught before the development team finds them.

  • Reduced-motion variants

    Each Lottie ships with a static fallback frame and a 'reduced motion' variant that respects user preferences without dropping the visual entirely.

  • Asset pack with usage notes

    Delivered as a folder with the AE source, the optimised JSON, a runtime preview HTML, and per-animation notes (recommended size, frame rate, looping behaviour). The development team integrates without guesswork.
